Annexair Package Cooling System
Air-Cooled or Air-Sourced Heat Pump Condensers
In the face of constantly increasing energy costs, Annexair responds by creating smart, energy-conscious designs. The traditional multi-stage compressor approach tries to improve comfort and generate savings, but without modulation, the opposite occurs. After analyzing many different cooling control techniques, the Annexair design team concluded that variable speed compressors are the best choice for our Air-Cooled Condensing Units. Each of our 23 possible sizes constantly uses the minimum amount of energy without compromising on comfort. Our packages are offered in 12 tons up to 300 tons with an optional air-sourced heat pump on certain sizes.

Microchannel condenser coils for improved performance
Entirely made of aluminum, these coils require less refrigerant as compared to conventional coils. Also, we offer an epoxy protective coating as an option.
Protective nylon screens as standard
To ensure a performing system, Annexair’s standard is to include a protective nylon screen for all condenser coils. In addition, this screen protects the unit from hail and helps prevent vandalism. Rain will automatically clean the screen but, should intensive washing be required, a tool-free VELCRO® attachment makes removing the screen fast and easy.
Water-Sourced Heat Pump Systems
Following in the same design of our Air-Cooled condensing series, each of our WSHP units utilizes the same engineering strategy: using head pressure control techniques that
includes building water flow modulation. Recently, our engineering team has conceived a new WSHP design that performs while remaining extremely rigid and robust. This high level of quality coupled with our construction rigidity easily distinguish Annexair WSHP from the competition.

High effectiveness heat exchanger
Annexair uses only coaxial tube-in-tube design for all our WSHP unit exchangers. All of these condenser coils operate very effectively as either refrigerant condensers or refrigerant evaporators when transferring heat with water. This makes them an ideal choice for water-source heat pumps. Water flows through the inner tube while refrigerant flows in the annulus between the inner and outer tubes.
The key to these coils' high performance lies in the convoluted multi-lead inner tube. The resulting tubes increase heat transfer surface area per unit length yet still permit full flow of both water and refrigerant around its entire periphery for improved performance. The net result is a highly effective, compact heat exchanger with superior anti-fouling features. Optimum heat transfer is also achieved with a counter-flow arrangement of water and refrigerant during condensation.
Annexair offers standard copper or optional cupro-nickel inner tubes with steel out tubes. Copper inner tubes are recommended for fresh and cooling tower water applications while cupro-nickel is recommended for ground and sea water applications.
